California chaparral covers the foothills and mountain slopes along the coast. Characterized by manzanita, sage brush, and scrub oak, the grey-green rugged hills explode with wildflowers in the spring.  

Brucato Chaparral’s dominant ingredients are yerba santa (a California native herb with a distinct bittersweet flavor, highly revered by apothecaries for its medicinal properties), spearmint, and cardamom.

3/4 oz Brucato Chaparral
3/4 oz gin
3/4 oz maraschino
3/4 oz lime juice

Shake and strain into small cocktail glass. 

Friend Place
1 oz Brucato Chaparral
1 oz gin
¾ oz orgeat
½ oz lemon juice

Shake. Serve on the rocks.
Garnish with lemon and mint.

Fernwood
½ oz Brucato Chaparral
1 ½ oz reposado tequila
1 oz blanc vermouth

Stir and strain into a small cocktail glass. Garnish with a mint leaf.

Gamboa Beach
2 oz Brucato Chaparral 
2 oz grapefruit juice
½ oz lime juice
3 oz tonic

Build in a Collins glass over ice. Stir. Garnish with a lime wheel.
