Nagami Kumquats

Tiny, tart, and intensely aromatic, these whole kumquats are used peel and all and dried to intensify flavor, for a bright, zesty depth that’s unmistakably California.

Dried Orange Peel

Dried for concentrated citrus character, local orange peel adds a warm, bitter complexity and long-lasting brightness to the finish.

Grape Brandy

Made from locally grown grapes and distilled with care, it carries a warmth and subtle complexity that lets the botanicals shine without overpowering them.

A Bold New Kumquat Liqueur in Two Distinct Expressions

Oro y Fierro is an amber-hued kumquat liqueur crafted to elevate both classic cocktails and inventive new creations. Named after San Francisco’s city motto, Oro en Paz, Fierro en Guerra ("Gold in Peace, Iron in War"), Oro y Fierro reflects the essence of contrast—bright and bold, smooth yet fiery, refined and daring.

Spicy, Or Not

Both versions are designed to reimagine the role of orange liqueurs in cocktails. Use Oro y Fierro wherever triple sec or Cointreau are called for—in margaritas, sidecars, cosmopolitans—or mix with sparkling wine and seasonal fruit for a decadent spritz. The spicy version offers an unexpected yet harmonious twist in both classic and contemporary recipes. There’s no better choice for a spicy margarita—simply mix with lime juice and tequila or mezcal, then serve over ice in a glass rimmed with a sweet, salty, or spicy blend.

Peak-Season Kumquats, Bottled Bright

To create Oro y Fierro, Brucato sourced peak-season Nagami kumquats from California farms, sliced and dried them in-house, and macerated them alongside dried orange peel in unaged grape brandy. The result is a deep orange-hued liqueur with the bright aroma of fresh kumquats and the layered flavor of citrus marmalade. The spicy variant adds complexity through the subtle smokiness and robust heat of chile de árbol and the earthy notes of Calabrian chili.
